Posted by Don’t ask. I have no idea why my brain has been stuck on poetry as of late. I know that I am not good at it, but since when did that matter to the musings of the mind. So, with no further ado, here are today’s musings.
The Glade
Silver cutting night.
The grass stirs, kiss of the wind.
Foxes dance at midnight.
Ill Fitting Shoes
My shoes don’t fit no more.
I used to dance the Fiddler's Dance.
But now I don’t dance no more.
Life came and took it all away.
Responsibility all day.
Freedom is gone but here I stay.
Waiting to start a brand-new day.
Cutting my laces and running free.
Take my hand and stand with me.
On the open dance floor, be thee.
Rebound
Don't be so bound.
Always looking at the ground.
Next step turn around.
Chase your heart ‘til you rebound.
Each step to the sound.
